Join us on Sunday, October 16, 2011, as a group of local woman host a fashion show in an effort to ‘stomp out’ an important cause. You will see local RI models strut their stuff down the runway at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet in two fashion shows. The first show will showcase local boutiques and the fashions they sell, and the second will shine the spotlight on established and up and coming Rhode Island designers, such as Kara Wickman, and their original fashions.
Some of the participating boutiques include: Frills of East Greenwich, GOSSIP of Newport & Wickford, Sonya’s of Cranston, Luli of Providence and Rock n Rose of Greenville.
STOMP OUT Domestic Violence is hosting this fabulous fundraising fashion show to benefit a local non-profit organization, The Women’s Center of Rhode Island. This center has been providing services to victims of domestic violence since 1974. Services here range from shelter and court advocacy to prevention through community education.
This wonderful event will include a ‘purple carpet’ paparazzi photo shoot, Chinese auction, a designer showcase room where you can purchase local fashions and jewelry, and a VIP after show party.
